Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Arno Plan ("we", provided by Arno Plan Ltd) collects and how we use it. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Arno Plan is a desktop application for macOS and Windows. Your projects are ordinary .arnoplan files stored on your own device — they are never uploaded to us or to any of the services below.

What we collect

  • Account details — your name and email address, so you can sign in and manage your licence.
  • Billing data — payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details; Stripe handles them securely on our behalf.
  • Licensing data — a device fingerprint and licence status, managed by our licensing provider (Keygen), to enforce your plan's device limits.
  • Verification emails — your email address is used to send you sign-in and verification (2FA) codes.
  • Your programmes — stay on your own device as .arnoplan files. We do not upload or store the content of your programmes.

How we use it

To provide and secure the Service, process payments, verify sign-ins, enforce licence limits, deliver app updates, respond to support requests, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

Third-party services we use

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the Service. Each only receives the data it needs for its role. Your .arnoplan project files are never sent to any of them.

  • Keygen — account & licensing. Handles your account email and name plus licence and device-activation data to enforce device limits.
  • Stripe — payments & subscriptions. Processes your card/payment details and billing information. Card details never touch Arno Plan's servers.
  • Resend — email delivery. Sends your sign-in and verification (2FA) code emails, so it processes your email address.
  • Vercel — hosting. Runs our backend API and this website, so it handles request and network data in transit.
  • Apple (iCloud Custom Email Domain) — email routing. Routes email for the arnoplan.co.uk domain (for example support@ and hello@).
  • GitHub — app updates. Serves app update and installer downloads via GitHub Releases. No account or personal data is submitted — your app simply downloads the release files.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these, contact hello@arnoplan.co.uk.

Retention

We keep account and licensing data for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, accounting or fraud-prevention purposes.
